Agile projects check quality of the real, emerging system not just interim project artifacts throughout the lifecycle; affording more options for addressing quality concerns close to their source of introduction. Since the highest business priority items are created early in the project, they will be well used and tested by the time the project nears completion. This creates a risk based approach to testing.
