5.4 Verify Scope is about checking that the work has been done properly. This is best done frequently and not focussed on a testing phase towards the end of the project. That way if issues are found they can be corrected closer to their source with less knock-on impact. Agile projects look for function acceptance as they go, although system, integration and regression testing will happen throughout the project.
